life as a child

Well as a child you obviously get certain allowances, you could say. People think that children don't know what they're doing so they let them get away with certain things. I myself as a child of thirteen have noticed this recently when i made a stupid comment, which if I was an adult, they might have thought i needed special care. So the story is, i'm walking down a street in York with my brother and he takes me in to an ice cream shop, which he said was run by Polish people but actually wasn't, this made me very annoyed as I was looking forward to see some Polish people who weren't on a building site. Anyway as I looked at the many different flavours, I saw vanilla, chocolate chip, mint and... jaffa cake? I was shocked at the new flavour and wanted a taste, but then i saw that it had whole jaffe cakes out of a packet in the ice cream and i started to think to myself. 'What if the Jaffa Cake flavoured Ice Cream isn't Jaffa Cake flavoured and it just has Jaffa Cakes in it'. instead of using logic I decided to ask the non-Polish woman behind the counter. After I had asked her "Is the jaffa cake flavoured ice cream jaffa cake flavoured or does it just have jaffa cakes in.' she stared at me for a moment, i could tell that she thought i was incredibly retarded and that she was thinking of something to say that wasn't simply 'guess'. So she just said... 'yes, would you like a taste'. So me and my brother both had a sample of the ice cream and at that moment i realised that i wasn't in the mood for Jaffa Cake ice cream and so I got chocolate. So the moral of the story is... uh... kids rule!
